Use the UK Drone and Model Aircraft Code and the aircraft's UK class mark or legacy weight. EU labels C0-C4 and subcategories A1-A3 must not be used as a shortcut for a UK operation.

The applicable separation depends on weight, class marking and the type of flight. Check the current CAA tables before take-off.
Beyond the Open Category
Operations outside the Open Category require the appropriate CAA qualification and operational authorisation.
Visitors
The CAA does not recognise overseas operator registrations or qualifications as a replacement for the UK identifiers required for a UK flight.
